Mr Gitomer Is Coming To Town

Over 10 years ago I was attending a convention in the United States, when I accidentally walked into a workshop that was just about to start. One of the helpers gave me a short workbook and guided me to a seat, it is at such moments that being British and not wanting to cause a fuss, can work to ones advantage. You see, my mind was going 'tell the young lady you are in the wrong place and just leave', the British side of me was going 'whatever you do don't let them think you are an idiot who has randomly walken into their seminar, shut up sit down and listen…..you might learn something'.
I am glad I stayed because I was able to have the single most instructive hour of my life, on the art of selling. Jeffrey Gitomer is a lifelong salesman and student of the art of selling. He has written the Sales Bible ( that is the real title) which is recognised as being one of the top five books on selling ever written. He is a student of the human condition and has written more best sellers on sales, attitude, customer service, than anyone I can think of.
